[GLN EC NTD] Topic 29/12: Year-End Meeting

Wow! The year of 2012 - Year of the Dragon is coming over. There are so many events, as well as incidents having happened leaving unforgettable memories in our life. There must have been a lot of things which could make us feel happy, but some make us sad. At the end of a year, it is time for us to look back on the past and think about the future, even beyond your life which is necessary to make our life better. Let’s come to GLN English Club this week to share year-end stories with us and along with us, we look back the GLN EC’s path of a year of operation. The meeting is promising to bring you the most comfortable moments before we enter the New Year with full of dreams and ambitions.

2:30- 2:45: Breaking the ice

•        Making friends with others

2:45- 3:30: Discussing in pairs

•        Let’s take a close look at our country. Can you list some noticeable events in the economic, political and social fields occurring in 2012? 

•        What are urgent actions that should be settled by the Government in next year?

•        What about you? What have you done in this year? Are you satisfied with these things?

•        Do you have any special plans for the coming year – 2013?

3:30 – 3:45: Playing games

3:45- 4:30: Working in groups

•         You are expected to work in groups of seven people. Choose an event which could be a scandal or a prominent event happening in our country in 2012. Let’s make a drama as funny as possible to express this event.
