The American writer Richard Bach has said that "A soulmate is someone who has locks that fit our keys, and keys to fit our locks. In a survey, Google Inc. has revealed that “sex” is the key word that Vietnamese people type most in the searching box of Google Homepage. When somebody hears it for the first time, they might think that “Vietnamese citizens have a lot of understanding of sex for sure”. But paradoxically, our citizens’ knowledge of sex is truly restricted because the information related to sexual issues that they have been searching for on the Internet is not instructive and unscientific. In fact, most of Vietnamese youngsters misunderstand safe sex and the number of terminations in our country has been increasing dramatically. Formerly known only in form of video tapes over a decade ago in Vienam, pornography has become increasingly popular due to the advent and tremendous widespread use of the Internet. Despite its obvious social awareness, pornography is generally regarded as a taboo subject in many Asian countries. But since porn existed a long time ago and the disappearance of porn is unthinkable as the sex industry is still making huge profit in all forms of media, it all boils down to question of how to live with porn and its related problems. The meeting this week will try to address this question and hopefully, bring the general consensus among men and women, especially women’s empathy with men’s tendency to porn.

Established on April 3rd 2010, after over 3 years of operation, GLN English Club is well-known as a friendly speaking English environment in Hanoi. So far, GLN English club has become more and more popular among English lovers. It has achieved the great improvements not only in quantity but also in quality, which has strictly followed GLN English Club’s mission statement: “Create an active and friendly environment for everyone to improve English skills”.

Be responsible for being MC in the weekly meetings
