Twenty-something is the term referring to people who are in their twenties. Because twenty-somethings are young and ambitious, they have lots of time and chances as well to obtain experience, foster their necessary skills and lead good lives. However, they are facing a plenty number of difficulties in the world that is much more challenging and uncertain than ever. What are twenty-somethings’ issues? How should they do to build up themselves to their thirties and their whole lives? Let’s come to GLN English Club on this Saturday afternoon to raise your own voices about the topic.

Making friends with others
3:00 – 4:00 Discussing in groups
  1. How are twenty-somethings in Vietnam? What are their main concerns? (for  example  career, higher education, love…)
  2. What are the differences between them and the ones at the same ages of   twenty years ago?
  3. What should twenty-somethings do to have well-established careers and build solid foundation for other aspects of their lives?
  4. In your opinion, will the people born from 1985 to 1994 or the younger be the generation leading our country to become a developed one in the world? Give some supporting ideas for your answers.
4:00 – 4:20 Playing a game
4:20 – 5:00 Debating
You will be divided into two groups: One supports getting married at twenty-something while the other agrees with the idea that tying the knot at thirty-something is more appropriate. Work in your groups and then have a debate on this issue.
