Here is the outline for the program:

Earth Hour

Saturday, March 26th, 2011

No 12, Lane 8, Nguyen Thi Dinh Str, Trung Hoa Ward, Cau Giay

2:00-2:10: Breaking the ice

Make friends with other people in the club

2:10-2:30: Warming up

Play a game (MC introduces the game…)

2:30-3:00: Discussing in pairs

Work in pairs to discuss these questions:

What is the history of the campaign "Earth Hour"?

What do we usually do in “Earth Hour” campaign? Can you tell me the meaning of these actions?

Have you ever taken part in any big event of this campaign? What do you think about it?

=> Some people will share their ideas (in about 10 minutes)

4:00-4:15: Watching a video clip

4:15-4:55: Discussing in groups

Someone says that the amount of money spent on celebrating the “Earth Hour” is even more costly than the energy’s saving on that day.

Do you agree or disagree with this idea? And how can we make "Earth Hour" most effectively ?

=> Two groups will present their ideas in 5 minutes each.

4:55-5:00: MC will end the discussion
