CRIMES & PUNISHMENTS


We are living in a modern and convenient life which is expected to be better for not only our physical health but also spiritual health; however; it seems to be that the ethics issues in our society tend to very alarming with the rapid growth of crimes at any age. “As a citizen, what can you do to reduce this and make our life better?” That is also our topic for the coming program. Come and share with us your ideas about “Crimes & Punishments” this weekend!

2:30- 2:45: Breaking the ice

 Making friends with others

2:45- 3:00: Warming up

 Playing an interesting game

3:00- 3:30: Discussing in pairs

 What are crimes & punishments?

 Could you list different kinds of crimes and punishments in Vietnam?

 What causes the above crimes? How should we deal with them (by punishments)?

 “Nowadays, the media seem to emphasize too much on posting shocked news about crimes, but they are often for entertainment rather than education”. What do you think about this opinion?

3:30-3:45: Playing a game

3:45-4:20: Working in groups

Recently, people are concerned about the most severe punishment - capital punishment in Vietnam and suppose that it should be abolished.

4:20-4:30: Ending the program (with a game if possible)
