You're young and you've got a brain. Added to this, you've got a passion for the planet.  All you need is the opportunity.”

This is the slogan for a youth volunteer program, which immediately attracts all the young readers. It’s the fact that Youth volunteering can offer important services to other people and to human service organizations to help overcome social exclusion and social discord. Besides helping others, it’s also a way to make youngster feel useful and helpful. So what is needed for volunteering? And how to make a voluntary program successful? This Saturday afternoon, a meeting discussing the voluntary work will be held. Let’s come and join us to raise more ideas about this field. Hope to see you there!

1.      What is voluntary work? Do you know any voluntary organizations?
2.      Have you ever taken part in any voluntary jobs? Tell us more details about them.
3.      In your opinion, how many kinds of volunteering do we have? What criteria to classify those types?
4.      What benefits may we gain when doing those jobs? Or what is your motivation to volunteer?
5.      Besides getting benefits, volunteering also require people to sacrifice their time, hobbies...or face difficulties. Please describe some difficulties when doing voluntary work.

Imagine that you are leader of a volunteering organization and Mid-autumn is coming up in next few days. You want to implement a program that intends to help children/local people in a poor village celebrating the occasion. Let’s make a plan and present your ideas.
