[GLN EC Sunday] Topic 05/05: Gender Equality

The matter of equality between women and men has long been the controversial topic for numerous discussions for years. As can be seen clearly, lots of struggles for women’s rights has been taken .However, can there be complete equality between men and women or there be always borders which women must hardly try to get over. Are you for or against gender discrimination?  What should we do to improve the situation, especially in poor countries like those in Africa?

4.  Why does gender inequality greatly affect working orientation between men and women? What have people done to handle with this?

 You are working in an Import – Export Company which is on the process to choose a new director. There are two potential candidates who are a man and a woman (in the post cards). You are randomly assigned who you have to vote for. Discuss in groups and make your choice as persuasive as possible.
