Holidays in Vietnam


      Holiday is a day designated as having special significance for which a government, or a religious group have deemed that observation is warranted, often accompanied by celebrations or festivities. In Vietnam, we have a lot of holidays that are our identities, which makes us more proud of our country. So what do you think about these holidays? Of which do you like most? What are the meanings of them? All these questions will be shared and discussed in GLN EC on Saturday 8th October.

-  Why do we have these national holidays? In your opinion, what are the most popular and important holidays?
-  What do you often do in these days? Of which holiday do you like most? Why?
3:15- 3:45: Warming up
-  Playing an interesting game
3:45-4:20: Discuss in groups
    We are expecting to enjoy the Liberation of the Capital Day - one of the most important holidays on 10th October in Hanoi. Should we celebrate it spectacularly or normally? Give your reasons.
4:20-4:30: Expansion activity
    Taking note all the words that you hear from others and then show us your outcome. If you write down correctly as the origin, you will be the winner
