[GLN EC Keangnam] Topic 12/08: Gender Equality

   The matter of equality between women and men has long been the controversial topic for numerous discussions for years. As can be seen clearly, lots of struggles for women’s rights have been taken. However, can there be complete equality between men and women or there be always borders which women must hardly try to get over? Are you for or against gender discrimination?  What should we do to improve the situation, especially in poor countries like those in Africa? Let’s join us on Sunday, 12^th August to experience the very useful meeting ever!

·         What is gender equality in your point of view? Give examples if possible ( at workplace, studying, family and so on)

·         What do you think about roles of your father and mother in your family? Who has big say over the other?

·         How about gender discrimination nowadays? What & Why? Have you ever experienced or witnessed any case?

·         How should we do to handle gender discrimination?

            Suppose that Import – Export Company is on the process to choose a new CEO. There are two potential candidates for this position who are a man and a woman (in the post cards). You are randomly assigned who you have to vote for.
