 “On a Sunday morning, you are sitting alone, sipping your coffee, and reading one famous newspaper in a very romantic coffee shop with very beautiful scenes outside. At the same time of reading the newspapers, you are also thinking about your own life and something around you….”


 Have you been in this case or at least imagined it? It is such a wonderful feeling, right? Or is there anything more wonderful when you are both drinking coffee and dreaming of “great things” in your life? So, come and share with us in this weekend program with the topic: “Coffee culture in Hanoi”!

3:00-3:30: Discussing in pairs
  • Do you often drink coffee? At home or in coffee shops? If the latter happens, could you share “when, where and why” and suggest some of well – known coffee shops in Hanoi?
  • How many kinds of coffee drink have you known? Could you recommend famous coffee brands in Viet Nam?
  • In your eyes, what is the coffee culture in Hanoi? Is there any difference between the coffee culture in Hanoi and that of other places in Vietnam?
  • For further discussing, what are the differences between the coffee culture in Vietnam and that of other countries in the world?
3:30-3:45: Watching a video clip
3:45-4:25: Discussing in groups
“Supposing your group has amount of money for opening a coffee shop, how will you build up its image?”
=> “Creative” ideas and presentations of such ideas are encouraged to be in any form (drawing pictures, playing dramas…)
