[GLN EC Saturday] Topic 13/07: Vietnamese bad habits



Besides inheriting many proud traditions from our ancestor, Vietnamese people also have a considerable number of bad habits. Professor Nguyen Lan Dung pointed out 5 bad habits of many of Vietnam, ham that money, user preferences, disregard for honor, insensitivity and cowardice, overlook significant minority. Are you agree with him? Let’s come to GLN English Club in the Saturday afternoon and share your own ideas about the topic.

3:00 – 3:45: Discussing in pairs:

  1. Can you list some bad habits that you've ever seen? How did they impact on you and everyone around? Please give examples.
  2. Can you tell us about your bad habits? Please share the way you deal with them.
  3. A multitude of shameful habits have resulted from the modern life such as unpunctuality, uncontrolled drinking, eating after work and so on. Do you think it could actually become harmful to our society?
  4. According to you, what are the main causes leading to the bad habits?

3:45 – 4:00: Relaxing

4:00 – 4:30: Working in groups
