With the advent of social networks, social  interactions extend beyond face-to-face talks, phone and video calls, internet messaging by allowing each individual to connect conveniently to different people in massive scale. Many have tried using social network sites, and only a few dropped. Social networks exist and continue to develop for some reasons, and they are an important part of our modern civilisation. Let’s join GLN EC this Sunday afternoon and discuss the topic of social networks with us!!

1. What are the roles of social networks in our society? How are they different from traditional forms of communication (phone, video, messaging)?
2. Can you list some popular social networking sites? How are they different from each other (functions, causes, designs). Why are they so popular?
3. How have socials networks changed our way of life?
4. What are the pros and cons of social networks? How do we use them to our advantage?

Nowadays, an increasing number of teenagers, young people seem to overuse social networks. They spend too much time on using some social sites to check-in, post status, photos, even when they are supposed to work, study or meeting some friends. How do they balance their life? Make a drama on this issue to answer the question.
