Why do you come to some English clubs, or attend many extra English courses weekly? 

A lot of people say that they expect to improve their English because of their job’s requirements or a well paid job in the future. English becomes increasingly important in our modern society nowadays but how to learn this language effectively is still a big complicated question for many learners. Though you spent 5 or 10 years to study it, the result you got was nothing or very little, might you have some problems with studying methods of English? 

So, come to GLN English Club for further sharing about your own experiences and access to some ways of learn English effectively with topic “How to learn English effectively?”

2:45-3.00: Warming up

3:00-3:30: Discussing in pairs

• How long have you learnt English? Is it enough for your good communication in English?
• Are you confident in your methods of studying English? Can you share some of your tips to learn English well?
• To you, what is the most difficult skill in English: listening, writing, speaking, reading…? How to learn them effectively?
• What are the useful and truthful sources to learn English? (book, website, TV channel…)

3:30-3.45: Playing a game

3.45-4.20: Working in groups

• Topic 1: Computers have the ability to translate all kinds of language well so our children don't need to learn English and other languages in the future? 
• Topic 2: Should English become the second official language in Vietnam?

=> Two groups will choose their own topic to talk about and then decide who will present the groups’ ideas.

4:20-4:30: Mc ends the discussion
