Meaningful and funny with the topic “Communication skills”

Nowadays, communication is known as one of the most important and popular soft skills. Good communication skills can help you achieve your success at work and in daily life. However, how to communicate successfully and effectively? GLN EC held a program to discuss about this

                                 Presenting ideas in front of the participants

Nearly 20 members had chance to discuss with one another about communication skills such as the definition, kinds of communication skills or the roles of it in daily life. Many interesting ideas are given by participants and people can’t help admitting that communication is the key to succeed. Be confident, open and clever are one of the methods to becom a good communicator. Not only that, discussing in pairs is attracted all members by some meaningful experienced sharings from several participants. Through those ideas, we can draw a lot of lessons related to communication skills for our life.

Continuing to develop the topic, discussing in groups gives us the chance to show our viewpoints between verbal and non-verbal communication that which is more important. Three groups share their ideas with sharp supporting ones. The discussion becomes more fascinating when the groups ask questions and even debate with one another. Nevertheless, all groups admit that “both verbal and non-verbal are very important. Instead of just using verbal or non-verbal communication, we should combine both of them when communicating”.

Before ending the program, GLN EC holds a very amusing part called expansion activity. 10 members have chance to present their ideas based on words given within 1 minute as funny as possible. More than one time, people laugh loudly by the funny ways of presentation. Four best presenters are received GLN EC presents.

The topic “communication skills” not only gives all members some tips to communicate successfully in life but also helps them relax and enjoy a nice weekend with some humorous participants.
