       Have you asked what happiness is? Or have you ever wondered whether you are happy or not? If you still cannot answer those questions, why don’t you come to our GLN English Club this week? With a very hot topic “What is happiness?”, we assure you that you will have a blast. Through sharing from funny friends, hope that you will have a “happy” weekend.

2:30-2.45: Breaking the ice

• Making friends with others

2:45-3.00: Warming up

• Playing an interesting game

3:00-3:30: Discussing in pairs

• In your opinion, what is happiness? When do people feel happy?
• Which factors build up happiness?
• What is the happiest moment in your life?
• What should people do to be happy and how do they maintain it?
• An extra question: “Is childhood the happiest time in people’s life?”

3:30-3:45: Watching a video clip

3:45-4:15: Discussing in groups

·        Drawing and presenting a picture about your “happy” world

4:15-4:30: Expansion activity 

·        Discussing in a round table: “Can money buy happiness?”

·        Presenting cards to one another with a sentence about happiness (Such a sentence should be prepared at home)
